There is an imperial army in the east and its coming to a country near you.... if it can find the way ....

get a load of this BP....  finally and now where are those LP 2's ..... this war is going to go into 2024... rewind spring 1939?

and wer'e off ...

You are right - going West is well what Bloodymir and is henchmen have in mind ... but I guess there is one significant difference to 1939: Adolf had a well trained, well equipped and motivated army. Bloodymir has not.

Just imagine - if Adolf would have got stuck with his army in Czechia for a year with no end in sight instead of taking it within a day ... WW II would have looked different.

Talking about the Leopards ... I must admit I am not privy to these discussions :) - however I understand that there might be as well some issues with training, maintenance and spares if they hand them over to the UKE army. Easier for them to use the old Soviet stuff .... They know them and spares freely available on the market.

As well - German army probably does not want to be in a position to just throw stones, if somebody attacks.

Not so easy - none of the Western armies seems to be prepared for a full on war, with even ammunition only for a week or so if they would have to fight as the Ukrainian army does. Industry needs to start up another production line or two ...

OH my gosh.... that man was a wonderful writer....

Stop press .....

"Germany will send Marder infantry fighting vehicles to Ukraine, official says "

https://edition.cnn.com/europe/live-news/russia-ukraine-war-news-1-6-23/index.html

now apparently the Germans have a spare MIM-104 ready to go ... how about that...

RM actually has Marders ready to go and apparently has had them ready for a WHILE just waiting on an EXPORT order....

Wonder what else they have sitting in a warehouse waiting to go.....

I guess this depends on your sense of humour.

But anyway we need to be a bit careful to keep the actions of any government of the day apart from the country they reign. I guess not all Brits are idiots despite their long term support for a Tory government crushing the British economy by shooting themselves again and again and again into the foot, and neither are all Americans senseless clowns despite having again put a bunch of those brainless GoP clowns in charge of the house.

At least it seems to me that Germany is still governed by grown ups ... even if you (and I) might not always agree with their decisions.

BP it now a game of "we can do better than you"....

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/world-news/2023/01/06/how-macron-seized-ukraine-leadership-britain/

Germany has a lot of stuff sitting in warehouses which RM can dust off.

On international markets inflation is taking a bit of a breather and the 10 year was hit....

Very warm summer  (oh its winter) in europe but freezing in ugly bear country.

looks like stragety back fired for ugly bear...

history going to write this one off  as the biggest russian blunder ever?

Yes, almost a tank ... but I doubt the Americans supply them with some of their newest gear.

More likely some of the earlier generations of this baby:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M109_howitzer .... they are all light tanks, but they are not all brand new like the a7 you link shows.

While the UKE's arnt asking for french aircraft the french do have the old

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dassault_Rafale

it maybe old but it has some cool features for ground attack .

dont know it can handle the 400 defence but it has had success in taking out air defence in other campaigns..
