Of more practical importance then UKE getting around 10 challanger2s is perhaps this from the comment section of the FT - "100 T-72 tanks are undergoing modernization in the Czech Republic as we speak (the project is financed by the Netherlands and the USA, and is carried out by a Czech contractor "Excalibur Army" in the Czech city of Sternberg: the tanks are being completely refitted and brought to a "3rd generation" standards: this should be a very significant boost to the Ukrainians when they do receive them)."

According to the Pentagon the upgraded T-72 they are paying for "will be the most technically advanced tank on the battlefield ". Presumably that includes the T-90 which, some would argue, is a match for the Challanger2.

T90 is a lighter tank... and Cooks... still the same basic older design with some Thales gear.

Which ugly bear will have trouble getting as supplies of western tech is being shut down one at a time. A T-90 with out its western tech is a dumbed out T Tank? Looks like it.

Developing technology for  Defence or  tracking any movement of humand and  equipment starts with knowing what you want to track....

An americas cup French foil designer looked at our  rig set up and said , put a sensor here....

What amazed me was we were already up to 2 sensors and thinking how we integerate the sources becuase each device had a different chip in it...

And what if you went ballistic and wanted say 10 as a standard junction box can have 10 and a standard video capture device also packs its video and data together.

That means you need to convert the long data types from the different sensors into a standard long data type in C lanuage first for speed of processing...

Then bring your data together by time stamp to get the big picture right?

And the RTOS in each device might be sampling the data streams at different timer intervals...

Now imagine that for a IFV ging at 60 KIlometers an hour building a real time virtual image of the terrian and whats in it....

Now you need big computing power in your boat, car, or light tank....

Turns out sport is one of best places to test this stuff..
