The rebuild of Ukraine will be a big job but the skills are there for all to see. This bunker might not be the best looking or get an award from house and garden but it shows organisational skills.

As impressive as that improvised structure is, you really do not want a static artillery piece or mortar etc.  Even little old NZ had counter battery radars in the 1980s to detect incoming rounds and to determine the launch point.  Back then our systems could auto aim counter fire before the first incoming round had landed....I'm sure such systems would be far more advanced today.
