I saw a headline somewhere (can't remember where but possibly CNBC) that it may have been accidental. Doesn't diminish the political/ diplomatic fallout though.

Dangerous games....

Yep OMP you right..

it appears to be all over the press and leading democrates have warned against farther moves by ugly bear.

In the UK they are saying the US is sending a message to XI to get things dialed back in Moscow...

Copied from Bonds and Banking:
A week after the US programmes were announced, First Republic remains under pressure ......

—the good news is a lot has changed since 2008. ........

.......The bad news is that so far trust in the banking sector has not been restored.

Central banks and regulators must do more to restore confidence. .......... If even a few small banks have to write down assets, solvency questions will become contagious.

Another risk lies in private markets. ......... They may delay crystallising losses in the hopes that asset values reflate in the meantime. .......... Private markets could undermine financial stability.

We shouldn't assume the cat is dead and a banking crisis is upon us, but we will keep hitting pockets of market dislocation as central banks continue to withdraw liquidity by raising rates and shrinking balance sheets. ............. Even if the cat is alive this time, we can't assume it has nine lives.

Will be interesting, but given that they prepare for election year I suppose even the Rep boneheads realise that they only can lose when driving the state into bankruptcy. So - I assume there will be the usual posturing, grandstanding and rattling the cage ... and after some weeks of chaos everything will be back to normal.

hope so BP... hope so.....

well 2 DOGs say 3 months to train uke pilots of f16 if they are experienced but the trouble is they are running out of pilots...

should have given them the F16 last year then...

and apparently transport UKE land is not limiting the speed on their motor ways just yet...
