Maybe... Thou' the author is the Tory MP Bob Seely, and his party have invested heavily in stirring up 'invasion' sentiment; be it from the Russians or refugees.

Noam Chomsky: Who is the greatest threat to world peace?

or has the old guy lost it.

The interviewer thinks the old guy's lost it. Maybe it'll be better when the old guy's as old as Henry Kissinger.

There has been publlished in Kanga land propaganda regarding attacking fish in Kiwi Land.

Hypersonic weapons are as we sleep being designed to attack Kiwiland Fishing grounds...

This new intelligence need to be sent to the james bonds of NZ spy land...

This is currently the greatest threat yet faced by KIWI land in this new age of  complete lunacy...

The essential defense quandary - people or kit? What good is one without the other, but how much of each is New Zealand willing to pay for?

Onemootpoint

It certainly is looking a bit sad. What's the solution?

Don't worry - the current government is busy in painting over the crack in their government, they won't have time to fix the army ... and the other party will be busy to cut taxes. How would you fix the army with less money?

Maybe we can use ACT's gun lovers ... they can donate their private weapons arsenal to the NZ army and volunteer to defend the country, this might fix it.

just fire 25%  of the Government work force in wellington and Auto the IRD with AI...

its going to happen anyway and NZ might as well get in early ... plan for it as it coming... real soon...

AI is not software now its actually in the chip Hives.... its not what people think.

The tax system need stream lining just like roger said... he was a visionary.

There is always a war coming...

Ok this solves the local missile defence problem... without using expensive Rocket lab motors...

These can be fired from anywhere onto landing beaching where the invaders are landing...

Some refinement might be in order such as GPS from T7...

The "Whats Its" name comapny can retail these and it can save the share price from farther embarrasment...

A different view from The ODT:

https://www.odt.co.nz/star-news/star-national/axing-missile-system-leaves-nz-army-without-air-defence

"The New Zealand Defence Force has quietly disposed of $29 million worth of air defence missiles which were never used or brought into service.

As a result, the New Zealand Army no longer has any dedicated air defence capabilities.

An Official Information Act (OIA) request made by the Otago Daily Times reveals Mistral short range air defence missiles were removed from New Zealand service more than a decade ago
