This is going to drag on a good few months, hard pass on stocks going into assets like gold and bitcoin.

Well, it may last days, weeks, months years or decades (as in previous conflicts). We will know afterwards.

It currently is a high risk period with a maximum of idiots running the big players. High risks are typically bad for stocks, while it tends to pop up assets with little base and high hype.

Yes, gold is good as long as you sell it before the risks drop. Interesting - gold price went up until the start of WW2, and than it dropped. Just make sure you don't miss the exit this time.

Bitcoin? Ah well, still much more hype than gold and necessary for various criminal activities - but no history. Isn't it dropping already?

Oil stocks should do well.  Could be the price of oil stays fairly high even when the bombs stop.

I guess the question is - do they really need to bother? It is only 20% of the worlds oil, and getting along with 1/5th less can't be that difficult? Aparantly driving 80 instead of 100 on our highways does the trick already.

Good time to get away and focus on alternative energy sources ... and if Persia and its Arab brothers still like to sell some oil, then for sure - somebody finds a different method to bring the oil to the consumer.

Pipelines, railways, trucks?

But maybe Dumby did something he never thought about - by cutting our access to oil, he might have increased our desire to use different energies: wind, sun, thermal energy ... after the Nobel price for peace, hw well might be in for the green person of the year in Time magazine!

Oil is used oil many industries which means you need replacements or all those research projects to come on line..

The problem is that if the price goes to 150 all economies stop they say..

well if that happens you will get to see if your right but i suspect if you are wrong your not going to be happy...
