looks like the west still has stuff to teach them.. even if its not on drones... and yes the Air controller FFID will need a lot of work and they clearly dont have that computing power needed to simuluate link 16... there are a lot of list structures for link16 and the likes of python and javascript wont give you the real time multi tasking systems you need for military grade field simulations and then there is the curvature of the earth to take into account on your plots when you cover large areas... 

some of these technologies were depreciated by microsoft when they went back to a single GUI thread... and started using huge amount of memory to display anything...
