I suspect that it's a mistake - that internal shuffling between various Blackrock funds somehow "leaked" into market announcements.

Lots of warm fuzzies here....but not a single mention about how underlying eps has declined since they listed more than 6 years ago, (in fact you'd be forgiven for thinking eps is entirely irrelevant lol)

Lots of patting themselves on the back for how well they've done with growing the asset base, navigating challenges, reimagining this and that...I am sure some people lap this stuff up and there will be lots of palm pressing and smiles all round at the meeting.  A new 5 year plan mentioned, (whatever happened to the original 6 year plan and the point of inflection ?)

No update about how they are getting on with selling their old care villages.  All their talk about growth in this and that and how's its going to be better going forward and how clever they were to manage their debt costs and all the while earnings per share are going nowhere.

Just as well its going to all be different going forward...well that's what some people keep telling us year after year....
