Yup, plenty of beer consumed.  The best known Ukrainian brand is probably Obolon.  Although,  Pravda Brewery's strong ale Putin Huylo (trans: "Putin is a dick")  certainly received plenty of press.

Indeed we know they have a lot of argi farming going on....or did until most farmers started collecting Tanks which apparently are now tax free and if you sell one you dont have to declare it...

Certainly no wonder they want those tanks... Are the german worried about the risk of ukraine developing the world best bears?

assuming it works as planned, the west might get companies like General Dynamics (for the Abrams) and Krauss Maffei (for the Leopards) to pay for the donations out of their marketing budget. What an amazing opportunity for these arms manufacturers to demonstrate the quality of their tanks!

yes BP .. RM has a new tank of course and really these are the older tank versions one assumes..

Germany has no choice cause as everyone was saying "Dont send tanks and no one will buy"

mind you RM could perhaps have moved country except if its Intellectual property could not be moved but just becuase your registered in a country doesnt mean you can pick up and move and register your patents in say UK...

RM income was in serious DO DO...no one would have bought the new tanks..

RM share shot up 1.15% the other day.

For sure it will be the elder tank versions. However - even a 1970íes Leo 2 is several generations more sophisticated than a Russian T-62!

For starters - it is able to shoot with high precision while moving (the T62 has even its problems to hit a target while being stationary) ... and it is faster than any Russian tank.

It has as well much better equipment for intelligence gathering (don't think the T62's have any ...) - i.e. if working together with the Ukrainian tanks, a handful of Leopard 2 in a battalion might well increase the effectiveness of the other tanks as well.

yes the T72 can keep up one supposes as it is agile apparently ...

narrow roads they say but every time you watch a VID its pretty open country out east...

yep the T72 has a machine gun and it can fire non amoured round ... anothing that goes bang helps right?
 
BP; The statements coming from officials about F16 and typhoons would take years to train pilots?

really most digitial display systems are similar and flight sims are everywhere these days and surely 2 months training would do the job...

 a plane is a plane and they all fly using more more computer assisted control systems....

i think it will come along sooner than we think and it wont be a big training deal..

Tanks are probably just as hard to maintaine in the field and the UKE are already running a lot of western systems day and night...

the UKE built a lot of turbine engines over the year to run helicopter  abd one think ships ect and they have a turbine in one of there tanks i think..
