Pretty sure most of the hostages are in them.

Did not stop Israel to bomb the sh*t out of tens of thousands of innocent civilians (and killing some of the hostages as well). So - what do you reccon - how many more innocent civilians are they going to kill in order to (perhaps) save some Israeli hostages?

Whats the going rate? How many innocent Palestinian women and children on one innocent Israeli? You tell me.

Well everyone in wellington is up in arms over the IDF.

But not a single one and some of them are EX military in Govt contract roles say anything when i mention Russia...

Its like they are all chatting in a GROUP think dynamic...

Russian threating the world order and western democracy and the Ukraine Arm taking all the KIA and wellington just sailing on blindly....

Strewberry Fruit Cake (CS of the green party) not out holding up a single PLACARD outside the Russian embassy...

HAMAS got elected but really it might be them that is holding the people as hostages. The whole population held as a shield and as KAD  (Killed at Dinner) to create more young recruits in arms...

Good point. Clearly, there are a lot of armies around the globe behaving in a much more disgraceful way than the IDF at the moment in Gaza, and I agree, this deserves mentioning.

I think the difference is - everybody knew that the Russian army under Putin (or put in your favorite totalitarian army) will behave just like butchers, because they reflect the system they serve for.

People however are suprised about soldiers of the the Israelian Army behaving like the henchman of any other run off the mill totalitarian regime. And yes, this includes training a rocket on a civilian target. Sorry. I did serve in the army myself and they taught us that it is against international law to attack civilians. Even if you receive an order to do so, you must refrain - or you will be in any civilised and free society subject to the criminal law.

At this stage unfortunately there are too many soldiers in the Israeli army who are considered war criminals under international law, and I don't see the state of Israel doing anything against this unfortunate fact. Sure - the same thing is true as well for the Russian army (and the armies of many other totalitarian countries around the globe), but sadly - this does not make it better.
