Banks are so damned frustrating

I use Heartland as one of my primary banks, but at the rate they are going, I am going to re-think that. They bring out new accounts such as their Digital Saver, but they clearly don't want you to have multiple Digital Savers. They limit us to one individual account and one joint account. So, if you are in a relationship you are hunky dory and can have two accounts. But if you are not, you are penalised and can only have one.

In what parallel universe does that make sense?
