As usual - the "good" book gives us the "solution" to the problem (1 Samuel 15:3):

"Now go and strike Amalek and completely destroy everything that they have; do not spare them, but kill both man and woman, child and infant, ox and sheep, camel and donkey."

Given that both Jews as well the Muslims believe in the old testament, they clearly try to do to each other what the god of the bible commanded.

I guess they either both might come to their senses - or alternatively both might follow their respective gods word. Both "solutions" should result in peace, but the tragic is - it didn't work for the last 2 and a bit thousand years. The killing just goes on.

Just some historic context: Both Palestinians as well as Jwes have the same roots - they emerged from the people of Israel who actually "followed" (and made up) gods command when they came out of Egypt and pushed the Amaleks out of the so called "promised land" ... these two groups only split up later when the educated orthodox people stayed Jewish ... and the poorer groups of society first converted to Christianity and some saecula later to Islam. Interesting, isn't it? Brothers and sisters killing each other. Clearly the bible is right ... and it started with Kain and Abel.

Now the brothers and sisters keep slaughtering each other .. and this in the name of the same god Christians tend to be fond of. Ah yes, and the "kill them" command is part of the Christian bible as well ...
