My shares seem to go in cycles.
Just when I have my doubts they come right.
Then when I start to think I am clever, the market turns round and kicks me in the back side, and says you are still a dummy..lol.

I see research from Forbar and Craigs.Neither have covered AFT.
The latest research as far as I know is Pitt Street's.
I have already posted that Pitt Street's research is often suspect, although they got it 100% right on ATP.Atlas Pearls.
What I like about AFT.
It is in the medical sector.[Good margins]
Has a big market presence in both Australia and NZ.
Future growth is world wide.
Means I can buy a NZ listed company with growing overseas earnings.
Its products are excellent,
Its products are well presented in chemist shops.Very good bold displays.
Sales momentum is building rapidly.
Leader driven.
The business is profitable and pays a dividend.
The business is very scalable.
Current PE ratio of 30.30 may be modest for a company with such potential.

Forbar research today target price $5.05.
Outperform..
We believe AFT's current
valuation attributes minimal value to either its R&D pipeline or its fast-growing international businesses.

eps......................13.4...............19.2..................25.2..................33.3
eps growth.................43.28%..............32.25%..............32.14%............av.32.22%
PEG ratio.Current PE 31 divided by 32.22 gives PEG of .96 ie under 1 which is positive.
Fun is if you divide the current PE by the one year growth..31 by 43.28 then PEG comes down to .71.Incredible.?

Stockhead today;
AFT building global specialty pharma portfolio
AFT Pharmaceuticals is a specialty pharmaceutical company dual-listed on both sides of the Tasman.

Its best-known products include the ibuprofen-paracetamol combination Maxigesic and Hylo, Australia's biggest-selling lubricating eye drop.

The company also sells Crystaderm anti-acne cream and Kiwisoothe for gut discomfort and constipation.

AFT's development program also covers dermatology indications including keloid scars, strawberry birthmarks and port wine stains.

Last week, it announced that the FDA had issued tentative approval for Scomara (rapamycin 0.5% cream) for the treatment of facial angiofibromas in tuberous sclerosis (FA in TSC).

It also sees a significant opportunity in iron deficiency, which the World Health Organization (WHO) describes as one of the most common and widespread nutritional disorders globally.

The FDA recently reviewed its Investigational New Drug (IND) application for its injectable iron research and development project, allowing the company to proceed with its Phase III clinical trial.

To be undertaken with Belgian development partner Hyloris Pharmaceuticals, the trial will enrol 1366 patients and is targeting an addressable market of ~US$7.41bn.

AFT posted sales of NZ$254.7m in FY26, up 22% on pcp, with net profit after tax increasing 24% to NZ$14.1m.

Hmm - they are around since 29 years and listed for the last 10 or so. Their only really interesting thing was to put paracetamol and Ibupprufen into one Tablet ... and sell them for 10 times the price. Not bad, but every doctor and every patient knows as well how to get the same result much cheaper.

But yes, I know they make other things as well (though none I remember made a huge gain). Yes, they like to make plenty of promising announcements, but the result is frequently just so lala.

Great SP peak before in 2021 and then it went down again.

Anyway - I hope this time looks better for the holders, but just remember - so far this used to be a cyclical company with lots of announcements but not really an amazing EPS. The last years earnings was something like 10 to 15 cents per share. Not that much for a $4.75 share price ...
