Been looking at getting into this one, but wondering why the gross yield for this is only 3% when the market index they are tracking (ASX:IOZ) is yielding 6%? Any ideas? Management fee is 0.3% so surely they are not losing nearly 50% of the gross dividend to taxation?

iShares Core ASX 200 ETF paid out some very large (possibly exceptional) dividends in July and October. Smartshares dividend payments only goes up until May. I'm guessing that they ought to catch up somewhat with the November dividend?

You might be right. The other thing I discovered was that the AUS etf used to hold iShares Core ASX 200 ETF directly (HOW LAZY). I'm 95% sure that exposed them to the FIF regime, leading to a yearly 1.25% tax on assets which might explain where all the dividend cash went.
