That doesn't pass the sniff test, not even close.  There's been a massive ramp up in long term risk free Govt stock rates all around the world in the last few months and its causing a huge amount of volatility in the date center and A.I. space due to much higher funding costs but the latest so called valuation uses exactly the same beta as the previous quarter when the market was much less volatile and exactly the same interest rate as the previous quarter when long term rates were a lot lower.  Your post reeks as a cut and paste of corporate B.S. but if you believe it, then good luck to you. Mr Market is not fooled with IFT's share price under pressure.

You're confusing the general with the specific. There's a lot of noise and uncertainty surrounding AI but if you look at CDC's growth earnings and demand for their services you'd tone down your polemic and be more measured (and objective).

As for the cut and paste - well that's the actual methodology they have consistently used. There's little point in measuring them against a methodology that they don't employ. Unless you have an axe to grind, that is.

Looks like the SP is giving all the messages one would need. SP dropped below the MA200 and keeps going down.

If we look as well at their earnings and earnings growth - this share might be worth (fair value) something like 8 or 9 dollars, assuming it keeps its performance (and who knows?).

Obviously - speculation gains (or losses) excluded.

Market just shows it got the message. Sometimes its a bit slow ...

Shall we call this Spark 2? Spark peaked at 5.40 and dropped to something like 1.90, despite the ongoing protests of its holders. I know, quite inconsiderate, but just not enough money to pay more for the share.

What does this mean for IFT? IFT peaked at nearly $16. If it follows the same path it might go down to $6?

Who knows ... but much more fun to watch from the sidelines ...

You've been watching IFT from the sidelines for years BP. And forecasting their doom for years too. Let's see where things are in a few years' time.

IFT is well diversified in a variety of infrastructure areas. It's why they are one of the safest investments around and why they trade at a premium. If telecommunications, electricity, renewables, digital infrastructure, healthcare and airports are all going to go into decline, then we might as well all go home.

Update from IFT on the viability & quality of IFT's Australian data centres......

https://api.nzx.com/public/announcement/482165/attachment/479678/482165-479678.pdf

BP's alarmist prediction of $6.00 a share looking extremely unlikely IMHO.

ps According to MarketScreener 10 analysts rate IFT a BUY at current levels with the average target SP of $17.56.

Look, Left field. I didn't predict any market price - I just asked a question based on another market darling dropping, which was as well highly priced and talked up by LL.

Nothing alarmist - similar things happened in the last years with many other highly loved and priced for perfection stocks, just repriced a bit later from the market. No matter, whether you take many of the so much loved retirement villges, our so much priced milk and honey industries, our so much loved, high priced and than deep dropped communication industry. Some of them just go bust and many others are just cyclicals which are better bought when low then when high. IFT is currently high ... and the downtrend just started (first wave down).

Just look at many of the amazing capitalfunds which dragged down in the last years ...

IFT is nothing more - just a stock of shares and company parts, run by people who like to reward themselves by investing other peoples money. But hey, what possibly could go wrong?

Anyway - good luck ... but try to improve your posts by at least correctly citing other posters before you respond.

I always caution listening to people who talk about uncertain things with such certainty.

Do you believe in astrology for men too?
