For those who yearn to once again heat Russian opera singers like A Netrebko there is Christmas Eve on ARTS channel for some lovely Russian opera singers performing...

7:30 Pm to 10:05 Arts channel.

 one  hopes one day tourists will be able to visit ST Petersberg and once again listen and watch great perfomers and lets hope that is within a decade..

A bit of Kiwi culture.  Even at war....boys will be boys.

The story of 6 men from the Maori Battalian who hunker down for the night in a ruined Italian home.

A very short film (15 mins) called 'Tama Tu' by Taika Waititi.

Well worth watching.  Enjoy!

France is a lovely country, if it wouldn't be for the natives :) ;

OK - this might be unfair, but the handful of times I've been there I always felt they are trying to take advantage of foreigners. Providing inferior services for over the top prices. Quite different to my experience in any other country I visited in Europe, Asia or the Americas (and there are many).
