TWR are on the up elevator whereas HGH are either going down or stuck between floors. Most likely they will cross each other at the $1 mark in the weeks to come.

91c. Next resistance level 93c and then it's onward to $1. Assuming that Mother Nature doesn't intervene between now and 30/9 of course. ;)

Great to see TWR inch over $1.00 today.

Call me crazy but I can't help comparing HGH and TWR

Both Finance sector stocks. Both much beaten down in recent times. Both undergoing considerable changes and both possibly overdue for rerating etc etc

Here's a SP comparison of the two based on both 6 months and 1 month.

Going to be interesting to see how the comparison fares in the months ahead. (Disc have so far chosen TWR for my portfolio (up 22%)  but may change my mind and switch to HGH at any stage!!)

I've gone all in on TWR on the basis that their end of year report is - despite the vagaries of Mother Nature - likely to be a stunner. If the large events provision goes unused shareholders will get the double whammy - a surge in SP and a juicy dividend.

HGH though is, for now,  on a speculative bounce. More to do with projected drop in interest rates etc than any actual evidence that the business has turned the corner.

Both companies are worth a punt I think - maybe a fiver each way - but Tower for my money is still ahead coming into the home straight. ;D

Very cheap forward PE of only 6.5 @ $1.
Premiums have been going upwards at an alarming rate...ask me how I know  >:(
One new thing is that with the takeover of ARV almost assured, entry into the NZX 50, perhaps as early as the Sept 2024 rebalance but more likely the Dec 2024 rebalance and if not then, certainly by the March 2025 rebalance, looks absolutely assured either with or without WHS exit on possible takeover.
Just as well we know these index inclusion events have no effect on the share price...opps, hang on a minute, YES they do !
Okay...count me in for a small wager.  Lounge Lizard reckons a few bucks each way on this and HGH is a good strategy.  Both super low PE stocks...what could possibly go wrong lol.
