TDO.ax starting to move in anticipation of drilling.  Could hit 20 cents when drilling announced - highly speculative.  I have been in since last June -   started buying at 9ish cents.

Natural gas play - South Australia
Joint Venture - TDO has 20%  - Connoco the main player who will pay for first two wells.

Offshore Otway Basin (VIC/P79 and T/49P)
➢ NOPSEMA EP Acceptance: Australia's offshore energy regulator, NOPSEMA, has accepted the
Otway Exploration Drilling Program Environment Plan (EP) marking a significant regulatory

Multi-TCF Gas Prospectivity in the
Otway Basin
Highlights
• Upcoming approved Otway Exploration Drilling Program (OEDP): a maximum of six
exploration wells will be drilled within two offshore petroleum titles, VIC/P79 and T/49P —
which aims to identify commercial gas reserves to supply the East Coast market and support
Australia's current and future energy needs.
• An updated prospective resource identifies multi-TCF potential: 51 prospects with an
aggregated mean prospective resource of 9.2 Tcf1,2 of gas (Gross recoverable) – see Table 1.
• High-graded exploration targets: Charlemont Cluster is high graded based on seven lowrisk, amplitude supported prospects, having a mean prospective resource of 1 Tcf (Gross).
• Potential for a material east coast impact: If successfully explored and developed,
Charlemont Cluster has the potential to deliver up to 1070 PJ3 of gas to the East Coast
market, equivalent to approximately six years of Victoria's total gas consumption.

1 Prospective Resources are those estimated quantities of petroleum that may potentially be recovered by
the application of a future development project(s) relate to undiscovered accumulations. These estimates
have both a risk of discovery and a risk of development. Further exploration appraisal and evaluation is
required to determine the existence of a significant quantity of potentially recoverable hydrocarbons.

3D Energi Limited (the "Company"; ASX: TDO) has completed its evaluation of ~3,924 km² of existing and
reprocessed 3D seismic across the VIC/P79 and T/49P permits. This has led to a significant update to the
prospective resource estimates (Table 1; Figure 1), where the Company holds a 20% interest.

Seismic Data Unlocks Transformational Portfolio of Prospects
3D Energi holds a 20% participating interest in one of the largest exploration positions in Bass Strait, with
licence over 7,265 km² of premier acreage across VIC/P79 and T/49P in the offshore Otway Basin. These
permits are directly adjacent to the Basin's largest producing gas fields and span the inboard margin of a
proven hydrocarbon fairway (Figure 1).

The Joint Venture (operated by ConocoPhillips Australia) is preparing for the upcoming Otway Exploration
Drilling Program (OEDP) — a maximum of six exploration wells will be drilled within two offshore petroleum
titles, VIC/P79 and T/49P — which aims to identify commercial gas reserves to supply the East Coast market
and support Australia's current and future energy needs. The OEDP is currently estimated to commence in
the third quarter of 2025.

3D Energi has advanced a regional prospectivity assessment and defined a large portfolio of prospects,
enabled by state-of-the-art 3D seismic acquisition, processing and reprocessing.
• ~3,924 km² of 3D seismic has been acquired, processed or reprocessed to date across both permits.
• Preparations are advancing for a new 3D survey (Regia), covering >1000km2 of northern VIC/P79 that
does not currently have existing 3D seismic data.

Retailers flock to huge Victorian gas project despite long timeframe

Costing more than $100 million, the offshore drilling campaign is the US-based major's first targeting domestic gas project in the stretched east coast market. It is also the first investment in Australia for one of its two partners, Korea National Oil Corporation – a surprise addition to the joint venture in May.

If successful, those wells would confirm the potential of the immediate area to deliver up to 1070 petajoules of gas, enough to satisfy six years of demand in the energy-short state, and which could be rapidly brought to market, according to the smallest partner, Melbourne-based 3D Energi.
Customers queue up
"We've got a lot of people talking to us, a lot of people know this is pretty good, pretty low risk," said Noel Newell, chief executive of 3D Energi. The company's market value of $37 million is dwarfed by the $US120 billion ($184 billion) ConocoPhillips and the Korean government firm.

The junior explorer puts the chances of success at between 68 per cent and 81 per cent, depending on the individual well, which is more than double the 30 per cent average global exploration success rates.

"People want to put their hands on gas: they are talking to me now in case at the other end there will be a lot of gas," Newell said.

Cap raise closes on the 10th - I believe we are seeing weakness in the price as cap raise participants at 11 cents are selling the shares they owned at a higher price.   Once that selling pressure is finished I expect the price to start heading upward again. Seen similar price action in BPG.nz

Otway Exploration Drilling Program
Essington-1 Intersects Two Gas-Bearing
Waarre Reservoirs

3D Energi Limited (the "Company"; ASX:TDO) is pleased to provide the following update on drilling operations
at the Essington-1 gas exploration well within VIC/P79 exploration permit, offshore Otway Basin, Victoria.
Highlights

• Essington-1 has intersected gas-bearing intervals in the Waarre C and Waarre A sandstones
close to pre-drill predictions.

• A gross gas-bearing interval of 62.6 metres is interpreted on wireline logs in the primary
Waarre A reservoir, comprising 58.5 metres of net pay.

• A gross gas-bearing interval of 33.2 metres is interpreted on wireline logs in the secondary
Waarre C reservoir, comprising 31.5 metres of net pay.

• A clear gas gradient on pressure data provides additional evidence of moveable gas.

• Ora wireline formation testing will be conducted to obtain downhole gas samples and assess
reservoir deliverability.

The Essington-1 exploration well, located within the VIC/P79 exploration permit offshore Victoria, was spud
at 3:15am AEST on 1 November 2025 by the Transocean Equinox. The 8½-inch hole section penetrated both
the primary (Waarre A) and secondary (Waarre C) reservoir targets and reached the planned Total Depth
(TD) of 2735 metres MDRT safely and without incident.

Well TDO hasn't hit 20 cents yet as predicted.

Waiting on news, hopefully today, on the current drilling operation.

Last news came out - they hit gas 160m earlier than expected and need to adjust their drilling plan.

So sounds positive for a 100% drill rate.  2 for 2.

financings have been the big hold up on this stock.
