Your options are to move to another broker (anyone know of any Aussie brokers who will open a NZ resident account?), or to go to Issuer sponsorship. The problem with Issuer sponsorship is that you cant sell your shares - you will need to transfer them to a broker in order to sell them. Which brings you back to the broker problem.

KW a friend has got around this and still has his Commsec account whilst living here in NZ by simply giving an Australian address ( a friend's) that will never have anything mailed to it.
