Du Val Group hinting at an IPO

Investment in a building developer could attract a few here. The company said it intends to deliver 1,000 residential units annually, specialising in "brownfield regeneration", terraced housing and apartment schemes.

He looks like a pimp.  I wouldn't touch it with a 40 ft barge pole if it ever sees the light of day on the NZX

Any one else think the roller is part of the debt?

First impression (who says I can't judge a book by its cover) - I'll be steering clear.

Picture certainly not a motivation to give them money one wants to get back at some stage ... and the way they treated investors so far (as per article) is not inspirational either.

Interesting strategy to look for funds ... maybe inspired by the previous US president? Pretend you are rich and beautiful, have enough lawsuits at hand and treat everybody like what you are. Plenty of people like this and will just throw their money at you.

So, yes - not my cup of tea, but I could imagine there are enough fools around who start already dribbling at these signals to be seperated from their money.

If the NZX allow this to list, then any credibility the NZX has left will be gone. Duping a new lot of retail investors  into bailing out their f***ed over wholesale investors is something that shouldnt be allowed.

Why aren't they building them now?  Why did they gate their current investors?  Why did they suspend dividends?  Why did they resume dividends at 2.3% instead of the 10% that was promised?  More importantly, why hasnt the FMA done something about this considering they have already been found guilty of taking money from retail investors (supposed to be wholesale only) and now have completely f***ed them over.

Looks like another IPO disaster in the making. Former bankrupt, investigated by FMA, showing off his bling lifestyle. What could go wrong?

Interesting clip ... this guy looks so much cheesier and (in relative terms) nicer than the Donald, but still such a tragic end. Wondering, whether there is something wrong with the conman business model?

But anyway - receivership is always temporary. It always ends after liquidation ...
