Sad news today.

Sad but 99 is a good innings.  Munger could be relied on to deliver an acerbic one liner, two of my favourites are his description of Berkshire's success; "It's not brilliance. It's just avoiding stupidity"  and "I don't think you can trust bankers to control themselves. They're like heroin addicts."

Sad indeed, and yes a great innings  - just short of a tonne. Would have turned 100 on the 1st of January.

I'll miss his inputs, quips and generally just 'having him around' in the investment world.
