Recreational vaping will be banned and the tax on tobacco products will increase over the next three years under a massive smoking crackdown announced by Health Minister Mark Butler......

However, as I understand it cigarettes won't be banned, so if Aussies want a nicotine hit and can't get their vape  it seems logical they'll turn to smoking !!

Excellent news. As the mother of a (usually) very  intelligent, educated (RN) daughter, who for some unfathomable reason decided to take up recreational vaping - I wish NZ would do the same.

I was surprised to learn we now have significant more vape shops than pharmacies. Struck me as things out of kilter. Arent we supposed to be smoke free by 2025

In the bad old days of smoking in any building even some doctors would smoke in their consulting rooms.
