I regret that I am unable to be at these meetings. However, I appreciate that they provide the forum with the cohesion and camaraderie that friendship and familiarity brings.  So, we all benefit. :D

I'd like to play a game this year.  After a few drinks, we'll go around the table and I'd like everyone to name just one stock.  Their very highest conviction holding, (which at least in theory should also be their biggest position).  A brief explanation of why is optional but lets have some fun and see who likes what the most.  See you tomorrow  :)  The game is already up for me, see yesterday's HLG posts  :)

TRA followed by HGL for reasons well explained on said threads - shame we can't chose where say a quarter or half of our KiwiSaver goes.

Well I'm sure that will be discussed 😉. It's a beautiful Auckland day. The beer is cold and I'm the first here by the look of it.

Have fun people, would liked to have joined but have company visiting.  Next time.

Thanks to Basil for organising this and to everyone who came along. It's great to put faces to names and to meet everyone. Most enjoyable.

It was a fun afternoon. I really enjoyed meeting everyone and seeing who is behind those handles on Stocktalk. I'm glad I made the trip up from Hawke's Bay and hope to do it again next year.
Thanks so much Basil for organising the event - great work!

Great to meet you Ferg - I look forward to hearing from you about catching up in Napier early April.
Cheers

Many thanks to all who came along and made this such a fun and interesting afternoon. Wonderful to meet so many new people this year. Best numbers in several years ! Special thanks to all those who traveled considerable distance to attend. I'm sure everyone enjoyed your company just as much as I did. :)
