You are very warmly invited to join with others on here (about 7 confirmed attendances already) for a long lunch and some lively discussion about, among many other things, the state of the world and its markets and what are the best prospects for the year ahead. Last year we redefined the meaning of the word long lunch and it extended right into dinner time at another establishment and a lot of fun was had by all.

Those of you that haven't already let me know you're coming, If you could kindly indicate on here if you are attending that will help me better assess numbers for the table booking. I'm looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible. The more the merrier !

I unfortunately will be non attending, certainly was contemplating but don't think I had expressed the possibility. Thanks also for the good notice period I had from a posting on another thread of the event, trust it will be a good day for all in attendance.

Hey Guys,

Thank you to all those who have confirmed their planned attendance. So far we have 10 confirmed attendees. Letting me know on here by no later than Sunday evening 22 February is the best way to ensure there is space at the table for you to enjoy lunch with your fellow guests as I will be booking the table on Monday morning on 23 February. Don't be shy, all welcome.

Table is booked under the name of "Basil" for 12. Might be one or two extra's by the sounds of it, we might have to squeeze up a bit. Best number of attendees for several years to the best of my recollection. I'm looking forward to seeing you all there.

I'm looking forward to tomorrow.
I'd like to play a game this year. After a few drinks, we'll go around the table and I'd like everyone to name just one stock. Their very highest conviction holding, (which at least in theory should also be their biggest position). A brief explanation of why is optional but lets have some fun and see who likes what the most.
